What's 📀 Steeped in Sound?

A DIY event series featuring a curated lineup of DJs, local vendors, meditation, and free tea! Hosted by The Tea Stand and LEEWAY.

When?

We host Steeped in Sound on Sunday afternoons on a (roughly) bimonthly basis. Next event will be in May – we will announce a week in advance via Instagram.

Where?

When it's warm, we host Steeped in Sound in public parks around Brooklyn (e.g. Prospect Park, Herbert von King Park). When it's cold, we host it in LEEWAY's Greenpoint loft or venues like Formosa.

Why?

We host Steeped in Sound to create a space for creative expression and connection. Many events in NYC involve alcohol, spending money, and music that's too loud for meaningful conversation. Steeped in Sound is our response to this – a Sunday afternoon event focused on community, collaboration, and free tea and music for all!
